JOSEPH BARTON

Joe Barton is a Los Angeles-based director and editor with an extensive background in commercial and narrative film production. He began his career nearly a decade ago in the freelance world, eventually transitioning into advertising at Darkroom Agency where he served as their in-house Senior Content Director before returning to his own production company years later.

Joe has lead production and post production on hundreds of campaigns that ranged from broadcast TV spots to high-volume social media ads. He managed campaigns for prominent brands such as Otterbox, HP, Joybird and Olipop - earning a Platinum award in the TV (Broadcast & Cable) category at the MARCOM awards in the process. Staying close to his narrartive filmmaking roots, he recently edited “Endling” (2024), a film that premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival.

Equipped with a narrative storytelling ability and a deep understanding of the advertising industry, he hopes to create elevated, cutting-edge ads that no one will want to skip.
